Full-Time Frontend Developer

Role Purpose: Contribute to software improvement and development using modern engineering practices with continuous deployment of high-quality code.

Daily Tasks:

• Building, improving, and maintaining frontend components.
• Converting wireframes/mockups into app features.
• Implementing web app structure and design.
• Developing user experience-enhancing features.
• Automating tasks with tools and scripting.
• Supporting validation and verification testing.
• Ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• Creating and maintaining software documentation.
• Optimizing web pages for speed and scalability.
• Supporting a safe and productive team environment.
• Learning from and mentoring colleagues.
• Shaping frontend development technical direction.

Development Process:

• Building high-quality, reusable code.
• Collaborating with developers, designers, product managers, and clients.
• Communicating design ideas.
• Prioritizing user experience in design choices.
• Collaborating with vendors for product improvements.

Technology Stack:

• Single Page App: TypeScript, React, Chakra, React-hook-form
• Backend: Ruby/Rails, GraphQL, Postgres, Redis
• Frontend Testing: Jest, Cypress
• Backend Testing: RSpec
• CI/CD: CircleCI, GitHub

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of frontend development experience
