Full-Time Frontend Engineer

Position Overview: Build next-generation web applications leveraging AWS, SSE, cloud native, containers, AI, and ML. Work with front-end developers, cloud developers, product managers, designers, and QA. Make architectural and design recommendations for the client platform. Mentor developers. Develop on 1+ front-end web applications. Automate tasks using CI/CD, automated tests, and code linting. Build tools for internal efficiency.

Skills and Expertise:

• 4+ years experience with web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS)
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Passionate about UI development for web applications
• Experience building/maintaining reusable libraries and components
• Experience with React, popular JavaScript utility libraries
• Experience with SumoLogic, DataDog, CloudWatch, or similar observability tools
• Experience establishing, promoting, and ensuring best practices (common components, unit testing)
• Experience with web application development and deployment
• Deep experience with Git, GitHub, Pull Requests, and Rebasing (thorough, helpful, respectful code reviews)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, collaborative, iterative environment
• Experience with highly reactive platforms
• Intricate knowledge of building and troubleshooting HTTPS web services using REST (Postman/Insomnia troubleshooting)
• Proactive documentation
• Bonus: Experience with TypeScript, React-Admin, Nest.js, IoT platforms, event-driven architectures at high scale (SSE), integrated cloud/backend team, AWS cloud experience, previous startup experience, previous full-stack role
