Contractor Frontend Engineer

Company Capital Markets Gateway LLC (CMG) is a financial technology firm focused on equity capital markets (ECM). It connects investors and underwriters via a neutral platform, providing integrated ECM data and analytics, and workflow efficiencies for an otherwise fragmented process.

CMG helps clients make more timely, better-informed decisions. The platform is used by nearly 150 buy-side firms and 20 global investment banks.

The Role: We're seeking a Front-End Engineer to build efficient, elegant, and intuitive user interfaces for enterprise solutions in the financial industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex user interfaces for web applications using React.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups into functional code.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers and engineering managers to meet requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and documented code, participating in code reviews and team discussions.
• Contribute to overall quality through E2E Tests.
• Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and trends, improving development practices.

What We're Looking For:

• English level: C1 or C2
• React experience: 3+ years
• Software engineering experience: 5+ years
• JavaScript state management (e.g., Redux, MobX): Experience
• JavaScript build tools (e.g., CRA, Webpack): Experience
• Modern CSS (e.g., Flexbox, CSS-in-JS): Experience
• Unit and component testing (e.g., Jest, Testing Library): Experience
• E2E testing (e.g., Playwright, Cypress): Experience
• Monorepo management tools (e.g., Nx, Yarn workspaces): Experience
• Fintech experience: a plus
• .NET experience: a plus

Tech Stack: React, TypeScript, GraphQL, .NET, NX, Jest, Testing Library, Material UI, Styled components, Docker, Storybook, Figma, Playwright.
