Full-Time Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a Front-End Javascript developer with experience in core web technologies and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.
Our platform primarily uses Vue, with some legacy code in Angular.
The Justride team is responsible for the development and maintenance of several web applications.
These platforms process over $1 billion in transactions a year.
Security and fraud mitigation are paramount.
We ensure high standards through end-to-end and unit testing, as well as refactoring to the latest standards and best practices.
We work in a cross-discipline team delivering robust and reusable components.
We are looking for a proactive person to join the team and contribute to code reviews, pairing, knowledge sharing, mentoring and technical road-mapping.

About You
A good command of the English language is required.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Skilled in JavaScript component frameworks like Vue and Angular.
Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility, and usability.
Experienced with client-side bundlers (Vite, Webpack, or Rollup).
Committed to engaging in an active engineering community.
Skilled in making pragmatic decisions and communicating effectively.
Approachable, patient, and an excellent communicator.
Passionate about maintaining technical quality and user-centred design.
Champion of best practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, automated testing, and operations.

Nice to Have

• Experience with hybrid web and mobile app development.
• Familiarity with native mobile technologies.
• Experience working with other programming languages.
