Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and Design: Architect a comprehensive, developer-centric toolkit to abstract cryptographic complexity.
- Establish Standards: Evaluate, select, and vet cryptographic libraries for enterprise-wide standardization.
- Build Reusable Patterns: Develop reusable code patterns, API wrappers, and reference implementations.
- Provide Authoritative Guidance: Serve as the organization's foremost expert on crypto-agility.
- Champion PQC Readiness: Lead the technical research and architectural strategy for our transition to Post-Quantum Cryptography.
- Collaborate and Influence: Work with the PQC Working Group, security teams, and executive leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
- Expert-level proficiency in multiple modern programming languages and distributed systems design.
- Deep knowledge of applied cryptography, including PKI, TLS, key exchange, digital signatures, and certificate lifecycle management.
- Experience designing and building platform-level tools, libraries, or frameworks.
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong interest in Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) concepts.
- Experience contributing to open-source cryptographic libraries.
- Familiarity with hardware security modules (HSMs) and key management systems (KMS).
