Contractor Full-Stack Software Engineer (Back-end)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full-Stack Engineer (Backend Heavy) to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate is passionate about building robust and scalable backend systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Laravel and Node.js.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Write efficient and reusable code.
• Implement front-end features using JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
• Optimize database queries and manage data integrity in MySQL.
• Conduct code reviews and adhere to best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to junior team members (if needed).

Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years of professional full-stack development experience, with a strong focus on backend development.
• Backend Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Laravel.
  • Strong knowledge of Node.js.
  • Familiarity with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
• Frontend Skills:
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
  • Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3.
• Deployment & Infrastructure:
  • Strong knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, ALB, Route 53, etc).
• Additional Required Skills:
  • Familiarity with Git and Bitbucket.
  • Working experience with collaborative tools such as JIRA and Google Chat.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• A proactive mindset with attention to detail.
