Contractor Fullstack Engineer

Full Stack Engineer Needed for AI Education Platform Prototype.

AI is the new electricity. DeepLearning.AI is building an education platform to train AI engineers, particularly in GenAI. We're looking for a creative self-starter to build a prototype for a new product.

Responsibilities:

• Build front-end of applications with appealing visual design.
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
• Test software for responsiveness and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
• Create security and data protection settings.
• Build features and applications.

Skills Required:

• Experience developing desktop applications from scratch.
• Familiarity with common stacks.
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (HTML/CSS, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of multiple object-oriented languages (Java, Python) and multiple frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js).
• Familiarity with databases (MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (Apache), and UI/UX design.
• Excellent communication skills for technical discussions with engineers and business people.
• Strong English language skills.
• Self-starter comfortable in early-stage environments.
• Ability to prototype, build, ship, and iterate on software products quickly.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.

Bonus Skills:

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related field.
• Understanding of AI/ML models.
• Understanding of big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Experience with consumer applications and data handling.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations.
