Slang.ai is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to support development, focusing on backend services in Kotlin and contributing to frontend features in TypeScript/React.
Core Responsibilities:
- Fullstack Development: Design and implement backend services using Kotlin and the JVM ecosystem. Develop GraphQL queries and mutations. Contribute to React frontend components.
- Data Modeling and Storage: Design and implement Firestore data models. Create efficient data access patterns and queries.
- Telephony and AI Integrations: Develop and maintain integrations with Twilio and Dialogflow.
- Frontend Development (as needed): Implement React components using TypeScript.
- Cloud Services Integration: Develop containerized applications using Docker. Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud Platform.
- Observability and Monitoring: Implement comprehensive logging, metrics, and tracing.
Timing and Availability:
- Expected commitment: 40 hours per week.
- Required overlap with EST business hours: minimum 4 hours daily (12:30 p.m. ET - 4:30 p.m. ET)
Deliverables:
- Production-ready Kotlin backend code.
- TypeScript/React frontend code when assigned.
- GraphQL schema documentation and query examples.
- Automated test suites.
