International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. is seeking a Functional Chief for Clinical Counseling to provide leadership and management for clinical counseling services for the Navy Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and implement a comprehensive clinical counseling program.
- Supervise and guide clinical staff.
- Have input into program budgeting and financial management.
- Collaborate with senior external stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes.
- Implement quality assurance measures.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with relevant organizations.
- Stay updated with current trends in mental health.
- Provide leadership and support to program staff.
- Prepare reports and presentations for organizational leadership.
- Participate in site/regional quarterly quality assurance procedures.
- Ensure counseling team documents and maintains records in the FFSMIS Clinical Counseling Record System.
- Ensure staff account for all services delivered in the scheduling module in FFSMIS.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
- Current, valid and unrestricted clinical license or certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of mental health treatment modalities.
- Proficiency in program development and implementation.
- Ability to analyze data and utilize outcomes.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
- Commitment to cultural sensitivity.
Required Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within a counseling program.
- Minimum experience includes two years, including at least 2000 hours, of full-time post-master’s supervised clinical experience.
- Must meet the standards of professional and ethical conduct.
