Full-Time GIS Developer

Timmons Group is seeking a skilled GIS Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive web applications.
• Develop and maintain full-stack solutions.
• Interact with clients.
• Contribute to delivery methodology and processes.
• Understand applications architecture and best practices.
• Work with geospatial technologies (ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS APIs, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Hub).
• Work productively in a team, communicating with cross-functional team members.
• Design, develop, implement, document, and maintain custom geospatial solutions.
• Learn and apply various technologies for solution delivery.
• Collaborate on requirement definition (user stories, acceptance criteria, sizing/estimation).
• Use agile delivery methodology with cross-functional teams.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in geospatial application design, development, and operations.
• Fluency in Esri products (ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcPy, ArcGIS for Server, ArcGIS for Portal).
• Understanding of application architecture best practices.
• Understanding of relational database design.
• REST Service development using ASP.NET Core or Python.
• Full stack development experience (SQL, C#, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Source control experience (Git).
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud technologies is a plus.
• Experience working with Linear referenced data.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, JSX, ArcGIS Maps SDK 4.x.
• Experience with Web App Builder Developer Edition and Experience Builder.
