BryceTech seeks Program Analysts to support a government client in enhancing the resilience of critical healthcare, transportation, and information systems.
This role involves geospatial analysis, technical support, information management, operational support, emergency response, program management, and stakeholder engagement. Tasks include creating static and dynamic informational products for planning, response, and recovery. Development of applications and code is also necessary to automate tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Management: Systematically collect, organize, & manage geospatial and public health data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Geospatial Analysis & Insight Generation: Analyze geospatial data to identify trends, patterns, and insights for public health emergencies. Conduct advanced spatial analytics (hot/cold spot analysis) to inform decision-making.
- Map Creation & Visualization: Design and produce informative maps and visualizations to communicate complex data, showcasing public health emergency and response efforts.
- GIS Tool Development & Optimization: Develop and customize GIS tools for efficient data input, analysis, and reporting. Explore emerging technologies like AI and machine learning for enhanced capabilities.
- Collaboration & Information Sharing: Facilitate information exchange among departments, partners, and agencies. Prepare and disseminate GIS-based reports, dashboards, and visualizations to stakeholders.
- Training & Documentation: Provide training to staff on GIS tools, data management, and best practices. Develop user guides and documentation.
- Strategic & Real-Time Support: Provide GIS data support for strategic planning in emergency preparedness and response. Implement systems for real-time data monitoring and reporting during public health emergencies.
- Policy Development & Compliance: Assist in developing and implementing policies related to GIS data management, privacy, and security. Ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience.
- Proficiency with Esri GIS software (ArcGIS, ArcMap, Dashboards).
- Experience with database management, data quality, and data standards.
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python, JavaScript).
- Expertise in creating intuitive maps and visualizations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adaptability, and project management abilities.
- Understanding of public health emergency preparedness and response protocols.
- Experience developing user training and providing technical support.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
