Intern Global Investigations Internship

Job Responsibilities: Assist in the measurement of economic losses, accounting and financial issues in investigations, and other assignments. Disputes include contract claims and other torts, and investigations/compliance work will include accounting, internal controls, and fraud risk elements. Businesses will consist of a wide range of industries and sizes. You will use Excel to create schedules using financial information to measure economic losses and identify inappropriate financial activities. Draft requests for documentation (document request list). Assist in preparing written reports and narratives for clients. Ensure document, transaction, and information accuracy by flagging details for senior review. Organize supporting documentation and input data for financial investigations. Assist with compliance reviews and mass tort claims.

Required Qualifications: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics with interest in accounting or finance. Minimum 3.0 GPA in major and overall. Currently working towards completing accounting courses before internship start. General computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Interest in Forensic Accounting. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Interest in obtaining CPA. Prior internship or work experience in accounting or global investigations.

Physical and Mental Job Qualifications: Ability to work at a computer for the majority of the workday. Ability to travel as needed.

Salary: $24 - $26 per hour
