Part-Time Graduate Assistant - Qualitative Concepts

• Provide instructional tutoring to students in qualitative concepts via WC Online and Zoom.
• Correspond with students in a professional and positive manner.
• Contribute to ongoing Tutoring Program initiatives related to qualitative research resources.
• Commit approximately 40 hours per month (10 hours per week) to this role.
• Attend and complete program training.

• Demonstrated experience with NVivo and familiarity with Office 365.
• Superb analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong writing skills.

• Must be a current Walden student enrolled in a doctoral program at Walden University.
• Demonstrated expertise and completed graduate-level qualitative research and advanced qualitative research coursework required.
• Coursework must include successful completion of the following Walden doctoral courses: Qualitative Reasoning & Analysis (8310) and Advanced Qualitative Reasoning & Analysis (RSCH 8360).
• 3+ years demonstrated work experience utilizing NVivo on a regular basis preferred.
• Superb knowledge of graduate-level qualitative research principles, core methodological elements, and using NVivo software.
• Ability to provide positive, constructive feedback to adult students in conversation and writing.
• Experience teaching or learning in online learning management systems preferred.
• Ability to adapt to all levels of learners.
