Job Details
The Grant Profit Intern contributes to securing funding through grant proposals and targeted research. The Grant Writer Intern identifies grant opportunities, drafts proposals, and maintains records. This intern works with the Nonprofit Fundraising Team Lead but completes some work independently. Therefore, strong time management and self-motivation are essential.
This position is remote, conducted over Zoom and Slack, applicants must be comfortable coordinating in a remote environment and maintain high communication. This intern must commit to at least December 15, 2025.

Responsibilities:
- Research and identify grant opportunities
- Prepare grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and funding applications
- Develop and maintain a grant calendar
- Collaborate with program managers, finance, and leadership
- Ensure proposals meet funder requirements and are submitted on time
- Prepare progress reports, impact statements, renewal requests, and donor communications
- Build positive relationships with current and potential funders
- Stay informed on trends in grant writing and nonprofit funding
Requirements:
- Current or recent student in Nonprofit Management, Communications, English, or related fields
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Effective communicator, even during conflict
- Ability to work remotely and meet deadlines
- Google Workspace experience required
- Experience with data-keeping is preferred
- Satisfactory organization skills
- Ability to keep information confidential
- Ability to attend weekly meetings
- Must be authorized to intern in the U.S.
