Volunteer Graphic Design Artist (Volunteer)

Responsibilities and What You Will Do:

• Support requests by Graphic Design Manager and Supervisor
• Participate in designing and redesigning computer graphics, web page graphics, logos, illustrations, advertisements, brochures, and other forms of visual communication.
• Analyze and plan the framework of design according to the concept and established specifications.
• Ensure adherence to ARO policies and standards.
• Complete project work within the given timeline.
• Stay updated on latest design techniques and procedures.
• Suggest improvements to designs and project issues.
• Assist team members in selecting appropriate styles, graphics, images, etc., aligning with project objectives.
• Leverage creative and marketing knowledge to develop creative campaigns.
• Attend all department and company-wide meetings.

Requirements:

• Available to volunteer 8-10+ hours/week
• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
• Video Editing experience in Figma, Adobe After Effects, or Premier
• Strong creative and innovative skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective relationship building
• Knowledge of interactive design, best practices in technology, usability, and user experience
• Detail-oriented and well-organized
• Ability to use analytical and artistic approach to solve complex issues
• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks
