Contractor Guidewire Upgrade Consultant

We are urgently seeking a Guidewire upgrade Consultant in Canada (preferably Toronto) by the first week of December 2021. We require 4 consultants.

Job Description: Guidewire Upgrade Lead Consultant (Policy, Billing and Claim)

Experience Requirements:

• 13+ years overall experience, with 8+ years in Guidewire Configuration, Integration, and upgrades.
• 3+ years in Guidewire Upgrade for Policy/Billing/Claim modules.
• Property and Casualty Insurance business experience.
• Java/J2EE resource with Guidewire experience (Policy Center/Billing Center/Claim Center).

Skills & Responsibilities:

• Design and development of Guidewire Integration Components.
• Configuration of Policy Center, Billing Center, or Claim Center.
• Hands-on experience with GOSU, Web Services, and XML.
• Experience with Oracle/SQL Server databases and SQL.
• Proficient in Guidewire Integration (ESB, Legacy Application, Third-Party integrations).
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture, Web Services (SOAP), and Messaging (JMS, MQ).
• GOSU, Rules Engine, Data Model, and Workflow experience.
• Experience in Incident, Problem, and Request Handling for Guidewire configurations.
• Hands-on experience with GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Rally, SVN, and JMS.
• Strong estimation, team leading, code review, and mentoring skills.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills, including experience working with stakeholders.
