Head of Legal - Product & Integration
OFX, a global provider of online international payment services, is seeking a Head of Legal - Product & Integration. This role supports the global legal team, working closely with regional Heads of Legal to manage legal risks.
Responsibilities:
- Support product launches, including the new client platform.
- Work with senior management and the Board on key initiatives.
- Manage legal risk and advise on global regulatory changes, particularly concerning payments and sanctions.
- Provide legal counsel on various corporate, commercial, licensing, and regulatory issues.
- Draft, review, and update commercial contracts, product terms, customer terms and policies (including privacy).
- Draft and review internal policies for regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Law degree from a nationally recognized law school.
- Current Australian practicing certificate.
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Experience in a top-tier law firm, or in-house experience is beneficial.
- Experience in financial services or payments preferred, but not required.
- Excellent written and oral communication, relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
