About the Role: Lead and manage a small team of engineers to prototype and productize computer vision and AI systems. Build proofs-of-concept, iterate, and validate systems in the real world. Define and prioritize the technical roadmap with product and business leads.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small engineering team.
- Build and own early-stage proofs-of-concept.
- Define and prioritize the technical R&D roadmap.
- Architect scalable systems transitioning from lab to production.
- Vet new models, data architectures, and hardware deployments.
- Set technical direction for new product lines.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years in engineering, deep experience in AI, ML, and computer vision.
- Proven track record of building 0→1 products or technical breakthroughs.
- Strong hands-on skills with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), video analytics (e.g., OpenCV), and deployment tooling.
- Experience leading and scaling small engineering teams.
- Experience creating data pipelines for video training data.
- Bonus: Edge computing, streaming pipelines, hardware deployment.
