Clinical Account Manager acts as the primary customer contact for sales demand creation by executing marketing strategy and promoting Sobi products.
Strategic role: Provides current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Sobi’s products and effectively communicates on-label clinical benefits.
Sales leader: Expected to achieve territory sales by executing Plan of Action (POA) marketing strategies, delivering branded sales messages, representing Sobi at local meetings, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Representing Sobi products and services to a defined customer base.
- Generating and growing sales, consistently exceeding sales goals.
- Promoting appropriate use of Sobi products to healthcare professionals.
- Understanding Sobi and competitor products, and disease states.
- Developing and implementing a territory business plan.
- Weekly analysis of territory sales data.
- Prioritizing physician targeting.
- Accurate reporting of physicians.
- Compliance with all regulatory agencies and laws.
- Preparing territory budget plans.
- Assisting in issue resolution and communication to management.
- Reporting adverse events to Drug Safety.
- Performing administrative functions (call activity, customer information, expenses).
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in business or science.
- 5+ years dedicated hospital selling experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry.
- 3+ years specialty sales experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ biologics sales experience.
- Experience with transition of care/patient journey.
- Strong sales performance history.
- Experience with single-source pharmacies, reimbursement programs, managed care, and formulary.
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage priorities and time effectively.
- Travel within assigned territory (up to 40-50% travel, including overnights).
Compensation:
Base salary: $120,000 - $190,000 annually.
