It takes a special person to be a Home Care Worker and help the older members of our community to maintain their home and enhance their wellbeing. We are looking for just that person with 3 months or more experience in a similar role to join the Silverchain team.

In addition, you will need:
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
- 3 months or more in a similar role.
The role
In the role of Home Care Worker, you will be providing our aged care clients with home help services such as:
- General housekeeping and making beds.
- Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors.
- Washing, folding and ironing laundry.
- Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
You will also be providing our aged care clients with personal care services such as:
- Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day.
- Assisting with mobility and therapy goals.
- Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia.
- Providing social and emotional support.
- Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments.
- Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.
