HR Consultant - Temp
Job Overview: The HR Consultant position is a temporary, full-time role supporting the HR needs of the first independent Christian Dior Perfume (PCD) boutique in Montreal, Quebec. This role will oversee recruitment and employee onboarding needs until store opening. It will also provide ongoing HR support and guidance throughout the employee lifecycle, along with assisting with other relevant HR needs as they arise.
Location: Remote, Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Reporting to: Country Director for the Canadian region of PCD
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead recruitment efforts for open positions, from sourcing to offer.
- Integrate new hires and ensure they're prepared for success before the store opens (including working with payroll/benefits).
- Advise on Canadian employment laws, particularly in Quebec, and ensure compliance.
- Fluency in French to provide appropriate support and communication throughout the recruitment and integration processes.
- Support any other store opening HR needs (e.g. providing guidance on uniform expectations).
- Complete other related tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3+ years HR experience.
- Knowledge of Canadian employment laws, especially in Quebec.
- Proficiency in French.
- Handle confidential information/issues with discretion and judgment.
Compensation: LVMH uses the published salary range as a guide to offer competitive market compensation, allowing for flexibility to acknowledge and reward various levels of expertise, performance and seniority. The published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level, and LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of 70 to 90$/hour.
