Human Resources Intern contributes to ONC's mission by completing essential tasks on the Human Resources team. The intern is responsible for:
- Gathering information to craft role descriptions
- Screening applicants
- Scheduling interviews
- Onboarding new interns
- Maintaining internal paperwork
- Assisting with offboarding
Opportunities include participation in other HR-related tasks and projects. Key responsibilities include assisting with the full recruitment life cycle, researching and creating role descriptions, screening and evaluating applicants, scheduling and coordinating interviews, onboarding interns/volunteers, maintaining paperwork, assisting with offboarding, and collaborating closely with the HR team.
Qualifications include being a current student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field. Excellent communication skills are required in a remote environment. Candidates must be able to work remotely and manage their schedule effectively.
Required: Google Workspace experience and authorization to intern in the U.S.
Preferred: Experience with data-keeping, knowledge of Canva and SignNow.
Essential: Ability to maintain confidentiality, satisfactory organizational skills, and attendance at weekly all-hands and HR team meetings.
