ABOUT THE ROLEAs an Instructor, you'll train the next generation of AWS cloud service professionals. You'll create dynamic, student-centered learning experiences, using instructional best practices. You'll facilitate lessons, support students through exercises, and serve as a subject matter expert.
Responsibilities
- Create a positive learning environment.
- Teach lessons according to objectives and session plans.
- Employ adult learning strategies (leveraging tech tools, industry insights).
- Communicate regularly with students on progress and concerns.
- Provide individualized student support and feedback.
- Assist with Performance Action Plans for students.
- Serve as a role model, promoting student retention.
- Encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in cloud services.
- Good knowledge of AWS applications and architecture.
- AWS Certifications (Cloud Practitioner, AI Practitioner, Machine Learning Engineer Associate, Developer Associate, Solutions Architect Associate, Solutions Architect Professional)
- Passion for teaching and explaining complex concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
Compensation$40-$55/hour.
Additional InformationPart-time, remote role; 20-24 hours per week. Classes are delivered online, Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm CST.
