Pharmacovigilance (PV) team plays a critical role in supporting patient safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
We are seeking a highly motivated intern with an interest in Pharmacovigilance (PV) in the R&D environment within the biotech/pharma industry.
This position provides hands-on experience and working knowledge of PV regulations and guidance in a fast-paced environment.
You will support the PV team in various areas, including:
- Individual Case Safety Report (ICSR) Case Processing Oversight
- Clinical Trial Safety
- Aggregate safety reports
- Process improvement and inspection readiness
- Ad-hoc assistance
Key learning objectives include understanding PV principles, operational and oversight aspects, and compliance with global regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in team meetings and assist with meeting minutes
- Support PV projects, resolve action items, and track status
- Review PV compliance metrics and ICSR quality
- Author and revise controlled documents
- Evaluate and pilot innovative approaches for efficiency and performance
Skills:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, SharePoint, Power Point, Word, MS Teams)
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
- Team player with excellent written and verbal communication
- Willingness to learn, be mentored, and improve
Eligibility Criteria:
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- At least 18 years of age
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university
- Active student in good academic standing
- Full-time availability
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (Biological, Nursing, Pharmacy, Regulatory Science, or other relevant life science)
- Advanced degree (MS, PhD, MPH, NP, PharmD) preferred, graduation date no earlier than August 2025
