International Middle East Reporter Intern will cover international content focused on the West Indies region.

Responsibilities:

• Write a weekly column covering social, economic, and political topics related to the West Indies from a Middle Eastern perspective.
• Special region-related coverage.

Duration: 6 months

This is a virtual and unpaid internship. Yet, you will gain valuable writing experience. Official Start Date: ASAP

Qualifications:

• The candidate should be adept at understanding the domestic and geopolitical context of the Middle East.
• The candidate should be adept at understanding the nuances of domestic politics across the Middle East.
• The candidate must be able to look at geopolitical subject matters from multiple perspectives.
• The candidate must be adept at relying on fact-based evidence rather than political or activist wish-thinking.
• The candidate should be adept at understanding the ever-shifting state of the economy or economies of the West Indies.
