The International Oceania Reporter Intern will cover international content focused on the China region for Modern Treatise.
Responsibilities:
- Write a weekly column covering social, economic, and political topics related to Australasia, Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia.
- Special region-related coverage.
Duration: 6 months
Important: This is a virtual and unpaid internship. You will gain valuable writing experience.
Official Start Date: ASAP
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Understanding of the geopolitics of Australasia, Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia.
- Understanding of domestic/national politics in these regions.
- Ability to analyze geopolitical issues from multiple perspectives.
- Focus on fact-based evidence, avoiding political/activist viewpoints.
- Understanding of the ever-shifting economies of these regions.
