International Caribbean Reporter Intern will cover international content focused on the West Indies region for Modern Treatise.
Responsibilities:
- Write a weekly column covering social, economic, and political topics related to the West Indies from a Caribbean perspective.
- Provide special region-related coverage.
Duration: 6 months
Important Note: This is a virtual and unpaid internship. However, you will gain valuable writing experience.
Official Start Date: ASAP
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of the domestic and geopolitics of the West Indies.
- Strong understanding of the nuances of domestic politics across the West Indies.
- Ability to analyze geopolitical subject matters from multiple perspectives.
- Strong reliance on fact-based evidence, rather than political or activist wish-thinking.
- Strong understanding of the ever-shifting economic conditions of the West Indies.
