Primary Role (Suitable for Beginners): Web scraping using HTML and Python with libraries like beautiful soup, Selenium, and PyCharm. Ensure data in CSV files matches website data, code functionality, and store CSV files in Dropbox.
Other Roles (if not assigned Web scraping): Manual software testing of the website and application. Document bugs, errors, and potential solutions.
Automation Testing: Automate bug testing using Cypress.io.
AI Automation Testing: Utilize the Recombee platform for AI automation testing. (Suitable for Machine Learning, AI, or Data Science majors).
Platform Development (if needed): Research and develop elements like chatbots and automated responses.
UI/UX Analysis (if needed): Use Adobe XD for prototype design analysis.
Project Management Assistance (if needed): Assist senior developers with project management tasks using Jira.
Tools Used: Primarily Skype and Dropbox; Microsoft Teams may also be used with senior developers.
Ideal Candidate Profile: Current student or recent graduate in IT-related fields (e.g., Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics). Solid understanding of fundamental programming concepts: Java, Python, SQL, HTML, and R. Strong time management and task completion skills.
- Bonus Skills: Experience with Python, PyCharm, Selenium, Beautiful Soup, Scrapestorm, Octoparse, AI development, Adobe XD, front-end frameworks (Bootstrap, AngularJS, EmberJS, jQuery, Ionic).
- Bonus Skills (cont): Some familiarity with deep learning and NLP. Project management skills and experience with tools like Dropbox, AirTable, Jira, Trello, Asana.
- Bonus Skills (cont): Ability to generate creative ideas. Interest in DevOps. Passion for automating processes. Strong English communication skills.
