Job Details
Primary Role (Suitable for Beginners): Web scraping using HTML and Python (beautiful soup, Selenium, PyCharm). Check CSV file data against website data, ensure code functionality, and store CSV files on Dropbox.
Other Roles (If not assigned web scraping): Manual software testing of the website and application. Document issues, bugs, errors, and potential solutions. Automation testing using Cypress.io. AI automation testing using Recombee platform (suitable for Machine Learning, AI, or Data Science majors). Research and development of platform elements like chatbots and automated responses (if needed). Using Adobe XD for UI/UX analysis (if needed). Assisting senior developers with project management using Jira (if needed).
Tools: Skype, Dropbox, Microsoft Teams (with senior developers). Project management tools: Dropbox, AirTable, Jira, Trello, Asana.
Technical Skills: Good understanding of Java, Python, SQL, HTML, R, and other programming languages. Experience with Python, PyCharm, Selenium, Beautiful Soup, Scrapestorm, Octoparse is a plus. Experience with AI development, Adobe XD, Bootstrap, AngularJS, EmberJS, jQuery, Ionic, or full-stack development is a plus. Familiarity with deep learning and NLP is a plus. Understanding of basic programming concepts.
Other Skills: Strong time management and task completion skills. Excellent communication skills, ability to ask for help when needed. Project management skills, experience with project management tools, ability to come up with innovative ideas. Interest in DevOps. Passion for automating processes and workflows. Strong command of English.
Work Environment: Remote work throughout the internship. Reference letter upon completion. Flexible working hours (aside from 9am to 6pm, e.g., 8am to 5pm / 7:30am to 4:30pm). Potential for part-time or full-time post-internship, based on performance.
Ideal Candidate: Current student or recent graduate in IT-related fields (e.g., Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics). Detail-oriented and able to handle stress.
