Java Application Developer
This is a contract position.This is a hybrid opportunity located in New York, NY.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop revenue-generating and time-critical applications for investment banking
- Design and build REST APIs using Spring Boot and Open API (Swagger)
- Leverage design thinking to improve developer workflows and systems
- Collaborate across global teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Partner with product, QA, and development teams to ensure high-quality software
Job Skills/Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with Java, including Java 8 features (Lambdas, Streams, CompletableFuture)
- Strong background in Spring Boot, REST services, and Open API specification
- Skilled in building real-time, scalable applications with multithreading and performance in mind
- Experience with relational databases such as DB2 or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Agile, TDD/BDD (JUnit, Cucumber), and DevOps concepts

Pay Range
Pay Range: $48 - $53/hr
