Contractor Java Developer - Telematics

Prepare technical design and develop telematics product features using Java/J2EE and Database related technologies.

Collaborate with product management teams to translate telematics feature specifications into high-quality, timely deliverables as a hands-on technical member in telematics product development.

Develop service and client-side code and database scripts supporting high-volume transactions.

Produce clean, unit-tested, and refactored code when required.

Analyze and troubleshoot production issues. Design and develop solutions to fix reported defects and stabilize new products.

Analyze and report production issue and ticket trends, providing recommendations.

Analyze current technology, develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them.

Manage production issue triage and tracking, troubleshooting activities, ticket creation, maintenance, assignments, and vendor follow-up.

Work with internal and external stakeholders to satisfy customer requests and resolve issues.

Identify root causes of technical issues (production and out-of-box failures) and create RCA documents.

Coordinate root cause analysis, problem management, and recurring problem management meetings.

Maintain knowledge and technical expertise of the production system, best practices, and tools.

Identify issues and risks related to the Issue/Incident Management program and escalate actions as necessary.

Interact with project teams for new product development, providing insights from previous product issues.

Maintain composure while multitasking and working flexibly between development and support applications.

Possess excellent communication skills to effectively work as a team.
