Full-Time Joomla PHP Developer (Remote)

We are seeking a talented Joomla PHP Developer for our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality web applications using PHP and MySQL.
• Develop, customize, and maintain Joomla-based websites and extensions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services into Joomla websites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Joomla sites.
• Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
• Participate in the entire application development lifecycle.
• Contribute to application optimization for maximum speed and scalability.
• Assist in database design, development, and management in MySQL.
• Engage in code reviews and share knowledge with the development team.
• Stay updated with emerging web technologies.
• Collaborate across departments to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and Joomla's MVC architecture.
• Extensive experience with Joomla CMS (template development, component customization, extension creation).
• Knowledge of database design, query optimization, and database management.
• Knowledge of security practices (SQL injection, XSS).
• Experience with CDN integration.
• Knowledge of web server technologies (Apache or Nginx).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Work Hours:

• Work hours overlap with EU business hours (CET +/- 2h).

Salary:

• Mid Level: 40,000 to 80,000 BDT
• Senior: 80,000 to 120,000 BDT
