Contractor Junior Remote SEO Specialist

Our agency is looking for a junior SEO specialist to join the team. It's a great opportunity to learn SEO from a talented full-service team.

Ideal Candidate: Has experience with agency work (paid, content marketing, or client-facing roles) and is interested in transitioning to SEO.

We'll teach our full-service SEO approach and build your skills.

This is a contract position.

Must be based in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing effective SEO strategies.
• Assist in off-page optimization (link-building, outreach).
• Onboard and integrate SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Business Profile, etc.).
• Conduct keyword research to improve rankings and organic traffic.
• Optimize website content and structure for user experience and search visibility.
• Perform on-page optimization (title tags, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking).
• Monitor and analyze website traffic and performance.
• Discuss SEO performance and results with clients.
• Provide support for Local SEO campaigns.
• Stay up-to-date with SEO trends and algorithms.

Requirements:

• 1+ years in client-facing roles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of SEO algorithms and best practices.
• Experience with WordPress or other content management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of improving search rankings and driving organic traffic.
