Lawyer - Technology (Hybrid)

About the role To provide legal advice on all technology-related matters across Endeavour’s strategic transformation program, including day-to-day commercial contracting and technology procurement. This role will play a key part in helping Endeavour establish independent IT and business systems.

We have an exciting two (2) year full-time fixed term contract for a lawyer to join our growing Group, Property and Transition legal team, reporting to a Senior Lawyer (Technology) and led by the General Counsel (Group, Property and Transition).

This role offers the chance to leverage your legal expertise, business acumen, and commercial insight to provide key advice and support across a diverse range of projects.

The successful candidate will enjoy a high degree of autonomy with the support of a wider Group, Property and Transition legal team.

The role is all about helping Endeavour achieve its strategic objectives.

This will require providing both strategic and day-to-day advice on a range of issues including commercial contracting, technology procurement and project risk across large scale technology and transformation projects.

Now let’s talk about you:

• Degree in law, a legal practising certificate and a minimum of 3-7 years post admission experience
• Strong expertise in technology, digital and commercial contracts
• Technology and digital project experience
• Private practice and in-house experience (preferable)
• In house legal experience in a large and complex organisation, preferably retail
• Able to make pragmatic, risk based judgements
• Ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders in complex organisations
• Leads through ambiguity
