Seedworld Studio is looking for an experienced Contract Lead Community Manager.
This Contractor will build, grow, and maintain a vibrant and engaged online and offline community around the company's brand and game IPs.
This role requires strong communication, strategic thinking, content ideation, and relationship-building skills to create a positive, supportive, and thriving community environment.
The Contract Community Manager will act as the primary point of contact between Seedworld and its audience, driving engagement and support.
6-month contract, estimated to commence in January 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Engage and build relationships with players across Discord, Epic, Steam, Reddit, TG, and more.
- Provide timely responses to community posts and reviews on Steam and Meta platforms, addressing support needs for all IPs.
- Develop strategies to attract new members to the Discord community.
- Provide timely responses to the Discord community, answering support needs, engaging, and sharing information.
- Work closely with the mod team to address community issues.
- Represent the live-service game to the community, sharing information, updates, and collecting feedback.
- Analyze community conversations weekly, creating a feedback strategy and system loop between the community and internal stakeholders to improve brand offerings.
- Align with the Social Media Manager and Marketing Directors on marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate and participate in Community Play Days and Q&As.
- Refresh community guidelines to ensure adherence to the Seedworld brand.
- Monitor and moderate community conversations, ensuring adherence to guidelines.
- Develop community engagement and growth metrics, providing weekly performance analysis and reporting on player sentiment, community health, and growth, with strategies to overcome setbacks.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of community management platforms and ecosystems.
- Exemplary product and brand communications, copywriting, and creative writing skills.
- Outgoing and proactive in building relationships.
- Knowledge of the video game landscape, with a focus on web3 games.
- Organized self-starter with demonstrated ability to plan and manage concurrent content pipelines and programs in a team environment.
- Ability to aggregate and analyze data, communicating key learnings cross-functionally.
- Excellent communication, time management, relationship building, conflict management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt easily to change.
- Positive, professional, collaborative, and flexible attitude.
Preferred Experience:
- 4+ years experience in community management, social media management, or marketing, managing live-service games.
- Experience working in small teams.
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
Location: 100% Remote
