Alabama Solutions is seeking a Lead Engineer to support a key account. This role offers the opportunity to make full-stack contributions and have significant ownership of architecture and stack choices. Responsibilities include mentoring and leading other engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make full-stack contributions.
- Have ownership of architecture and stack choices.
- Mentor and lead other engineers.
- Work with React/Typescript on the frontend and Node.js/NestJS/Typescript on the backend.
- Work with various APIs and LLMs.
- Utilize agentic coding tools.
Requirements:
- Six (6) or more years of relevant experience.
- Fluent in native English (C1+ and above).
- Native-level Spanish.
- Four (4) or more years of experience with Typescript + Node.js on the backend.
- Four (4) or more years of experience with Typescript + React on the frontend.
- Experience with agentic coding tools (Cursor, Claude, etc.).
- Experience in a 100% remote setting.
- Two (2) years or more of experience with a US/Canada/UK-based startup.
Nice to Have:
- Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience.
- Experience developing well-structured APIs, Typescript, and/or NestJS.
- Experience working with LLMs.
- Experience managing teams or a willingness to develop those skills.
