Full-Time Lead Front End Developer

TurboDebt is seeking a skilled Lead Frontend Developer with expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and 3rd Party Integrations to lead frontend development efforts.

As a key leader within the engineering team, you will play a crucial role in:

• Simplifying the tech stack.
• Ensuring smooth collaboration with various departments.
• Establishing proactive monitoring systems to prevent issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead frontend projects from concept to completion, focusing on elegant, simple solutions to complex problems.
• Work with logging and alerting systems (primarily Sentry) to quickly resolve issues.
• Proactively identify blind spots in monitoring and alerting systems and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to ensure user-friendly interfaces.
• Simplify and streamline the existing tech stack for maintainability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Connect 3rd party frontend integrations (TrustedForm, IP2Geo, Google Tag Manager, etc.).
• Be responsive during business hours for timely communication with stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, and API integrations.
• Experience with Sentry or similar tools for monitoring and alerts.
• Familiarity with React and Next.js (leveraging them as part of a simplified solution).
• Proven ability to simplify complex systems.
• Solid understanding of Git version control.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
