Our client is building a cutting-edge SaaS platform to revolutionize technical support, leveraging AI-driven automation and analytics.

They seek a Lead QA Engineer to establish and own the QA strategy.

This is a long-term, fully remote position where you'll ensure product quality, define best practices, and potentially build a QA team.

Role Overview:

• Experienced in designing and implementing QA strategies from scratch.

• Passionate about building robust testing processes.
• Experienced hiring and leading QA teams as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the overall QA strategy.
• Establish a scalable QA framework (automated & manual).
• Develop test plans, cases, and automation suites.
• Select appropriate QA tools for functional, regression, performance, & security testing.
• Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects.
• Establish metrics to measure software quality and provide regular reports.
• Plan and hire a high-performing QA team.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of QA experience, 2+ in a leadership role.
• Proven experience establishing QA processes.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with API testing tools and performance testing.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience hiring, mentoring, and leading QA teams is a plus.
