The Role We Need: We are seeking a Lead QA Engineer to ensure software product quality and reliability. This involves leading a small QA team, defining testing strategies, and overseeing testing plan execution.
The Person We Are Looking For: We need a highly adaptable, proactive individual experienced in both manual and automated testing, thriving in dynamic startup environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defining Testing Strategies: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans.
- Writing and Executing Test Cases: Create detailed test cases and scripts for validation of functionality, performance, and security.
- Automating Tests: Develop and maintain automated test suites.
- Conducting Code Reviews: Review code changes to identify potential quality issues.
- Collaborating with Engineers: Work closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure seamless feature integration.
- Identifying and Reporting Bugs: Detect, document, prioritize defects, and track them to resolution.
- Mentoring QA Team Members: Guide and train QA engineers, promoting a quality culture.
- Monitoring and Analyzing Metrics: Analyze test results and quality metrics to enhance testing processes and product quality.
