Contractor Lead Salesforce Developer

We seek a Lead Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions in a banking environment.

This role requires strong leadership and deep technical expertise to deliver secure, scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Salesforce solutions that solve complex business needs.
• Translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions.
• Use Trailblazer Community and/or Trailhead platform.
• Collaborate with squads during design and delivery.
• Lead the design and hands-on development of Salesforce applications, ensuring high-quality solutions.
• Develop custom Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce integrations.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of Salesforce developers and conduct code reviews.
• Develop and maintain integrations with banking systems and third-party tools using REST, SOAP, and middleware.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and translate business requirements.
• Manage Salesforce environments, including sandbox setup, deployments, and optimization.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and security standards.
• Oversee data modeling, workflows, automation, and access controls.

Background and experience required:

• 7+ years of experience
• 5+ years industry experience
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or related field
• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, System Architect preferred)
• 5-7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role
• Expertise in Salesforce technologies (Apex, Aura, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, APIs)
• Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external systems (preferably in banking/financial services)
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD practices for Salesforce deployments
• Experience in branching and merging strategies
• Experience in regulated industries (banking/finance preferred)
