About the Role:
Job Title – Medical Scribe
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Medical Scribe who will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of our innovative healthcare technology. As a Clinical Technology Integration Specialist, you will collaborate with medical professionals, data scientists, engineers, and leadership to integrate speech recognition and cloud technology into outpatient care settings. Your expertise and experience in medical scribing will be instrumental in making this project a success.
Key Duties:
- Utilize your experience as a medical scribe to provide input and direction around documentation best practices for a complete and accurate legal medical record
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare disciplines, as well as data science and engineering to assist technology in documenting patient encounters in real-time using speech recognition technology.
- Collaborate with our technology team to develop and fine-tune the speech-to-text conversion software for specific outpatient scenarios.
- Provide expertise in medical terminology and ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient visits.
- Assist in the design and implementation of efficient workflows that utilize the technology to streamline outpatient care processes.
Minimum qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a Medical Scribe in multiple medical specialties with a focus on primary care, orthopedics, cardiology, urology, and OB/GYN outpatient settings.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, documentation, and the electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and technology teams.
- A keen interest in healthcare technology and a willingness to embrace and adapt to new technologies.
Location: Remote
Salary Range: Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
