VirtueStaff is seeking an experienced Medical Scribe. The ideal candidate must be capable of managing a high-volume workload while maintaining exceptional accuracy. This role is pivotal in providing high-level support to healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume workload, processing and finalizing 80 to 100 charts per week
- Ensure all clinical documentation is complete, compliant, and completed within the required timeframe
- Assist healthcare professionals with administrative tasks to maintain workflow efficiency
- Document patient encounters with a high level of accuracy and detail
- Record comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, including HIPAA
- Perform quality checks on documentation to ensure completeness and clarity
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Medical Scribe
- Experience in Skilled Nursing (SNF) or Pain Management settings is a plus
- Experience with Point Click Care EHR system
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
- Current knowledge of HIPAA guidelines
