Full-Time Mid Front-End Engineer

As a Mid Front-End Engineer at Bilue, you’ll be part of a high-performing consultancy team that takes pride in delivering high-quality digital products. You’ll play a hands-on role in building and enhancing web-based user interfaces using React.js, along with core web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

You’ll collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers across disciplines to bring great ideas to life, always with a strong focus on usability, performance, and clean code.

• Build responsive, accessible, and interactive user interfaces using React.js and modern front-end best practices
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and back-end engineers to deliver seamless digital experiences
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Optimise applications for performance, speed, and scalability across devices and browsers
• Contribute to and evolve front-end design systems and component libraries
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and design discussions to uphold a high standard of delivery
• Continuously improve our front-end tooling, workflows, and development practices
• Work within a modern Agile delivery environment, supporting rapid iteration and client collaboration

• 4+ years of professional experience in front-end development, ideally in a consultancy or fast-paced delivery environment
• Deep expertise in React.js and strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+)
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling approaches (SCSS, CSS Modules, styled-components)
• Experience working with REST APIs and handling asynchronous data
• Familiar with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, or Parcel)
• Strong grasp of component-based architecture and front-end design patterns
• Proficient with TypeScript
• Exposure to .NET-based platforms (PowerWeb, Premier, etc.)
• Comfortable using Git and working in an Agile, cross-functional team
• Familiar with state management tools such as Redux, Zustand, or Recoil
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
• Awareness of accessibility (a11y) standards and performance optimisation techniques
• A passion for quality, user experience, and continuous improvement
