National Sales Manager will play a key leadership role, managing a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs) to drive growth. You'll be responsible for setting sales strategies, supporting your team, fostering strong partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and execute a 12-month commercial sales strategy with actionable quarterly targets.
- Lead, coach, and support KAMs to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Build frameworks and systems to streamline sales processes and team effectiveness.
- Be the trusted link between Montu and clinic partners, handling escalations and providing support.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Category teams for aligned messaging.
- Champion deep product understanding within your team, providing training, tools, and resources.
- Own team and individual sales performance, identifying and unblocking roadblocks.
- Support development of sales targets and forecast performance.
- Drive initiatives to grow Montu’s prescription share and brand presence.
- Monitor competitor trends and clinic behaviour to spot growth opportunities.
- Provide clear reporting to leadership.
- Hire, lead, and grow a high-performing team, setting clear goals, managing performance, and supporting development.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience leading successful sales teams (ideally in healthcare).
- Strong coaching mindset with the ability to develop others and foster engagement.
- Exceptional commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of the full sales lifecycle and customer experience.
- Comfortable using CRMs and sales tools.
- Analytical thinking with data-driven decision-making.
- Willingness to travel.
