Netsuite Developer (SuiteCommerce)

Particle41 is seeking a talented and versatile Netsuite Developer to join our innovative team.

As a Netsuite Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end software solutions that meet our clients' needs.

You will work on both front-end and back-end technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

In This Role, You Will:

1. Develop and maintain web applications using a combination of front-end and back-end technologies.
2. Design and develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using modern Netsuite and SuiteCommerce frameworks.
3. Implement server-side logic and database integration using languages like SQL, relational database skills.
4. Create RESTful, GraphQL APIs to enable communication between backend and front-end applications.
5. Write clear and concise documentation for APIs, including usage guides and code examples, to facilitate integration by internal and external developers.
6. Basic understanding of Open API specifications.
7. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
8. Strong understanding of the Netsuite and SuiteCommerce ecosystem and architecture and integrations with popular third-party libraries.
9. Implement API authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth, JWT, or API keys, to ensure data security and privacy.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis

1. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
2. Participate in requirement analysis sessions to understand business needs and user requirements.
3. Provide technical insights and recommendations during the requirements-gathering process.

Agile Development

1. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
2. Work closely with Agile teams to deliver software solutions on time and within scope.
3. Adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Testing and Debugging

1. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of applications.
2. Write unit tests and validate the functionality of developed features and individual elements.
3. Writing integration tests to ensure different elements within a given application function as intended and meet desired requirements.
4. Identify and resolve software defects, code smells, and performance bottlenecks.

Continuous Learning and Innovation

1. Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in full-stack development.
2. Propose innovative solutions to improve the performance, security, scalability, and maintainability of applications.
3. Continuously seek opportunities to optimize and refactor existing codebase for better efficiency.
4. Stay up-to-date with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Collaboration and Mentorship

1. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
2. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, testers, and product managers.
3. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment where ideas are shared and valued.

Skills and Experience We Value:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a minimum of +3 years of experience.
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools as needed.
