Full-Time NodeJS Developer

About You We’re seeking a Node.js developer to construct highly scalable backend applications.

Collaborate with frontend, designers, and product owners to define product requirements and design backend solutions aligning with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional Node.js development experience and 10+ years building web applications.
• Familiarity with AWS Amplify and experience in building cloud-native applications.
• Fundamental knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps workflows, with experience in tools like AWS CDK, GitHub Actions, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with REST APIs and proven ability to design scalable, secure endpoints.
• Expertise in relational (SQL) databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL/document databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Strong technical experience in Microservices.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, including asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in modern web development fundamentals: HTML, JavaScript, HTTP/S, client/server architecture, and security paradigms.
• Experience with stream processing or messaging platforms like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Amazon SQS/SNS.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with internal teams (developers to senior management) and clients/partners.
• Highly responsible, organized, and hardworking; excellent communication skills.
• English is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Node.js and supporting technologies.
• Build, optimize, and scale APIs to power core platform functionalities, including integrations with AWS Amplify, CRM systems, and other third-party services.
• Collaborate with the product team to define, plan, and implement new features enhancing the customer experience.
• Optimize existing systems for scalability, reliability, and performance to support growing user demand.
• Contribute to and expand engineering processes, including source control, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and documentation standards.
