Job Details
Responsibilities And What You Will Do:
- Provide leadership, support, advocacy, and vision to onboarding and offboarding coordinators and support staff
- Work in collaboration with the On & Offboarding Manager and HR Management
- Oversee a team of volunteers working in Onboarding and Offboarding
- Develops new strategies and programs to streamline the onboarding and offboarding process
- Ensure all necessary documentation is recorded for new volunteers
- Work with the offboarding team to remove inactive volunteers from all platforms
- Communicate with managers in other departments about new team members
- Work closely with recruiting the manager and other HR Supervisors to share best practices, provide assistance on critical needs, and coordinate global-level initiatives
- Perform other related duties as assigned. Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
- Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations
Here's what we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field a plus
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred
- Thorough understanding of applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Must be available to volunteer 10-15 hours a week
