Silvaco is seeking talented and motivated interns to provide additional resources to our Computational Lithography Solutions team. This internship offers hands-on experience with state-of-the-art computational lithography tools and workflows, providing exposure to model calibration, mask optimization, and large-scale proximity pattern correction (PPC).
Interns will gain practical skills working with wafers, data-driven simulations, and GPU-accelerated software, while preparing for potential full-time opportunities in a cutting-edge semiconductor environment.
Interns will be trained in:
- How to use Silvaco acuWafer to calibrate models
- Using Silvaco acuView workbench to simulate contour
- Learning Silvaco DPPC flow
- Enhance acuWafer QA suite
- How to apply GPU acceleration in intensity calculation
- Measuring and enhancing model calibration performance
- Literature study and preparation of EUVL and rigorous mask simulation (such as FDTD)
What Interns Will Learn:
Interns will gain valuable skills, including:
- The state-of-the-art computational lithography techniques and tools
- Model calibration, model-based mask optimization and PPC on large scale of data
- QA methodology for performance measurement
- Application of GPU acceleration in software development
Qualifications and Required Experience:
- Working toward a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, with research focus closely related to semiconductor manufacturing
- Good knowledge of optics/electromagnetics and optimization concepts
- Good knowledge of GPU development using CUDA libraries.
- Programming skills, preferably in C++, TCL, Python
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills in English
- Lithography background/knowledge
- Team player
- Layout design concepts
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process
