Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Senior Marketing Data Scientist. This is a true contract position, possibility for extension but no guarantee. This is remote but have to be able to work in AZ.
Responsibilities:
* Model development and deployment in non-prod and prod in AWS using Python, R, etc.
* Model Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of deployed models and update them as needed to maintain accuracy; May need to develop dashboard/tool to track performance if needed
* Support MMM and app maintenance and further development; Push changes to production using AWS Sagemaker, EC2, Terraform, Bitbucket, etc.
* Assist with ad-hoc data requests, data exploration and building business knowledge models. Build intelligent dashboards if needed using SQL, PBI
* Provide actionable insights from model and analysis to drive marketing strategies; Be able to identify trends, risks, and opportunities based on historical data and predictive models; Be able to present the findings for stakeholders if needed
* Conduct cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder meetings and provide documentations and internal trainings
* Lead projects, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables meet the business objectives and are delivered on time
* Perform other duties as assigned or apparent
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Operation Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Marketing Analytics, etc.; Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Operation Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Marketing Analytics, etc. preferred
* At least 3-4 years of hands-on experience in machine learning, marketing analytics, statistical modeling, marketing mix modeling
* At least 3-4 years of experience with various statistical techniques such as regression analysis, time series analysis, and predictive modeling, optimization, etc.
* Proficiency (3-4 years) in statistical software such as SQL, R, Python, PBI, etc.
* Proficiency (3-4 years) in analyzing complex data sets and derive actionable insights
* Familiarity (1-2 years) with marketing research methodologies and tools
* Familiarity (1-2 years) with AWS Sagemaker and Lambda functions; Terraform experience will be preferred
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Understanding of business objectives and how marketing analytics can support decision-making and drive business growth
* Ability to align marketing strategies with broader organizational goals and objectives
* Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
* Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams, including media, creative, product, and finance
Nice to Have:
* AI and multi-touch attribution model experience
* Deep understanding of marketing concepts, including advertising, distribution, and campaign strategies
* Familiarity with different marketing channels and their impact on business performance
* Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in marketing analytics
