Part-Time Part-Time English Instructor

IMMERSE is seeking a part-time English (ESL/EFL) instructor with experience in online teaching and communicative teaching practices.

Your Role:

• Conduct interactive English lessons in VR to adult learners.
• Instructors teach remotely and must have access to a personal computer that meets system requirements and a quiet space with consistent internet.
• Prepare for sessions using provided lesson plans and contribute to their continuous improvement.
• Perform administrative tasks such as providing daily reports, reporting issues, and ensuring smooth classroom operations.
• Participate in training sessions and meetings.

Who We're Looking For:

• Educators with a BA in TESOL or a related field.
• Skilled ESL/EFL instructors with a minimum of two years of experience.
• Technologically adept individuals comfortable conducting online sessions.
• Organized, detail-oriented candidates capable of managing teaching and administrative responsibilities.
• Native or advanced proficiency in English (C2 level (CEFR) or Advanced-High (ACTFL) desired).

Bonus if you have:

• Native or advanced proficiency in Spanish + experience teaching Spanish.
• Familiarity with and enthusiasm for virtual reality applications.

Availability:

We are looking to fill several positions on the following dates and times:

• Saturday and Sunday 11:00 AM to 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time
• Monday through Friday 8:00 PM to 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time

Starting date: September 2025
